My favourite shoes

Hi darlings!

I think everyone has an item which has a story how you have found it and so on. I have a story about my black and white Primark heels! I bought them in July and immediately made a post about them because I searched for this kind of shoes for such a long time. I first saw them on Ashley Tisdale's facebook page and I just thought "I have to have them!" They were from Alice and Olivia and way pricier than the ones from Primark. However I tried to find them and wrote emails literally everywhere. The shoes just weren't available nowhere and I was so sad..

When a friend and I went to Saarbrücken she found these look-alikes and made me happy!

I noticed that I haven't done a post about them yet, so here is an outfit with my beloved shoes:

Primark blouse - 8€
Primark necklace - 5€
Primark shoes - 15€
Primark clutch - 8€
Zara jeans - 30€

Do you have such a story with an item?

Shopping time and a hair mask test

Hi my dears!

I want to show you everything I bought when I visited my sister in Austria!
And I've tested a hair mask from Primark, I found it for 1,50€ in the store and wanted to try it out. Even if it should be a flop, I did not pay that much, so it is not that bad. (And I immediately bought 3 of them in case they would be fabulous).

I also bought some pairs of socks at Primark, hairslides and two matte lipsticks which I haven't tested yet but I love the colour. The two face maks are from Nivea and Schaebens bought at DM. (Nothing was more expensive than 3€!)

I tested the yellow one with Argan oil. The smell of it is very nice, a bit citric, but when you scent it for a while it seems to be a bit chemical. My only fear was that afterwards my hair could be greasy but my fear was without any reason: my hair is fluffy and easy to comb. I personally think that it is just like a normal conditioner. But I have to admit that my hair is pretty healthy and strong, so maybe when you have problems with your hair, it'll help.
So my conclusion is that it is a way cheaper alternitive to my favourite Sacha Juan "Hair repair" but it surely can't steal it's first place.

Hope I could help you!

A few changings and a lovely brand

Hi!

I don't know if you all read why the name of my blog is "Julie and Elena". At first, a good friend of mine and I should do this whole thing together but unfortunately she wasn't allowed to do so. However I already worked on the blog and designed it and everything.
Now the name doesn't fit anymore and I want to make a complete new design with a new name and a new "concept".

One thing of this concept is a presention of blogger and brands every now and then. Even if I don't have my new design yet, I want to start by presenting the Luxembourgish brand Yileste

How they describe themselves: "Yileste is a Fashion Design Studio based in the small Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. The collections epitomise sophistication with a distinctive contemporary edge."

I contactet them to get some pictures of the Autumn / Winter collection 2014 and they are very nice and friendly and immediately sent me the pictures.

The collection is a bit pricier but I love their new collection as well as their pictures!
I think their clothes look fabulous and special. They are also using the latest materials and cuts so you can be sure to be fashionable wearing Yileste.

Here are some pictures, you can find their whole collection on their site HERE.

Have you already heard of Yileste and what do you think about them?

The best cupcakes in Luxembourg

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I met up with the lovely Imena from Katherade and we tested Kathy's deli & cupcakery. A lot of my friends as well as her friends mentioned this cute little coffeehouse. Imena had a "red velvet" cupcake and I had the "cookies and cream"
And I have to admit: they have the best cupcakes I have ever eaten! They are just so delicious! For all of you living in Luxembourg, this is an absolute must!

I bought another one which I brought home. Unfortunately my parents ate it..

Here some pictures of the lovely cupcakery:

They also serve lunch, but I didn't try it. Have you already been in this cute cupcakery?

Soirée d'Inauguration at Paris 8

Hi my dears!

Two weeks ago I got this invitation from Paris 8 for their "Soirée d'Inauguration". They reopened their shop after a huge renovation. The shop looks fabulous now and their floor plan is better than the one from other shops, it looks clean and you have space to walk and look at the products. Furthermore they seperated the shop into two parts: the perfume part and the beauty part.

When we (Carmen, Carmen, Imena and Anouk) arrived, a nice woman took care of us and showed and explained us the whole shop system. It was really interesting!

The evening was so cool, they even made some "workshops", for example you could engrave something on your perfume flacon!

Last, I want to thank the Carpiaux Family, Anne-Sophie Drusch for inviting me to this great event and Ann Vendermeer to the detailed explanation of the shop concept!

Here some pictures:
